Windows Systems Administrator (Full-Time) Norcross, GA

Optomi, in partnership with a global leader in paper and packaging products is seeking an experienced Windows Systems Administrator for their Atlanta, GA location! The right candidate would be responsible for designing, building and repairing the Microsoft windows environment at both the offices and the colocation facility. This Windows Systems Administrator will come into the role having extensive knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Powershell scripting and VMware. In addition, this Sr. Systems Administrator will have 6+ years of systems administration experience with extensive windows knowledge. Key Responsibilities:

  • The Sr. Systems Administrator will be responsible for designing, building and repairing the Microsoft Windows environment at both the offices and the colocation facility
  • The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of Windows, Active Directory, Powershell scripting and VMware
  • They will be able to work well together in a team, manage multiple projects and report on them
  • The position is inwardly facing and requires interaction with users from other departments around the company
  • Take control of Active Directory – High level understanding of AD, DNS and Windows Domains
  • Top Tier Desktop Support – Top-tier desktop support for the helpdesk
  • Server/Network Design – Take over new projects and design the best solution
  • Windows and Linux collaboration – Understand the connection these two systems must maintain
  • Maintain systems – Keep our systems up to date with the latest patches
