Optomi Chicago Partners with The TGB Foundation to Provide Entertainment Bags to Hospitalized Kids

The dedicated Optomi team in Chicago devoted the better part of their Friday to assembling hospital entertainment bags, combining forces with our charity partner, The TGB Foundation, an impact-driven non-profit providing opportunity for kids to live their best lives.

This exceptional group assembled a total of 300 “TGBash” Bags, crafted with the intention to bring joy and comfort to the courageous little patients undergoing treatment at both Advocate and Lurie Children’s hospitals.

Entertainment bags include slime, toy cars, stress balls, conversation and joke cards, kids and adult coloring books, crayons, and a postcard for the child to send to a loved one. TGBash Bags extend far beyond bringing relief solely to the little patients; they also extend to their families. Providing engaging activities to fill the long days and creating opportunities for meaningful bonding instills an elevated sense of well-being, enabling families to navigate their circumstances with renewed strength and resilience.

The TGB Foundation was created in honor of late Optomi cofounder, Todd Black, who championed strong values, generosity, warm-hearted corporate culture, and relished any opportunity to make a positive impact in people’s lives. Fueled by these philosophies, The TGB Foundation carries on his legacy by providing opportunity for kids to live their best lives.
