Optomi Volunteers at Atlanta Community Food Bank

Optomi Atlanta spent their Friday afternoon giving back at Atlanta Community Food Bank. Together, the team packed 8,637 meals that will be distributed to food pantries, community kitchens, childcare centers, night shelters, and senior centers in the area.

Atlanta Community Food Bank’s mission is to fight hunger by engaging, educating and empowering the community. They work with 700+ nonprofit partners to distribute over 67 million meals to more than 1 million people estimated to be food insecure across metro Atlanta and north Georgia. Atlanta Community Food Bank is also a member of Feeding America, the nation’s leading domestic hunger-relief charity.

It feels great to partner with organizations that share our passion for giving back. Specifically, our passion for feeding kids. Many children right here in the U.S. don’t know if there will be food in the fridge when they get home from school. Through The TGB Foundation, we provide meals for under-resourced children through our Opt2give program to ensure hungry little bellies are filled.
