Overview
We are seeking a strategic leader to own the enablement, optimization, and integration of Adobe Journey Optimizer (AJO) across the organization. This role is not focused on hands-on journey building—technical resources will support execution—but rather on guiding teams, shaping strategy, and ensuring the platform is fully leveraged to drive intelligent, cross-channel customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Strategy & Enablement
- Serve as the organization’s primary authority on AJO capabilities, best practices, and roadmap.
- Translate marketing and business objectives into actionable AJO use cases, data requirements, and journey activation strategies.
- Guide teams to maximize AJO’s potential, helping reimagine how the organization engages with customers across channels.
- Define data requirements, ingestion workflows, and identity management strategies for AJO.
- Partner with internal data teams and external vendors to ensure seamless integration with CRM, CDP, analytics, customer service systems, paid media, and APIs.
- Maintain a strong understanding of MarTech architecture to enable reliable and scalable data flows for journey orchestration.
- Work closely with marketing, customer experience, analytics, engineering, and vendor teams to align priorities, enable platform capabilities, and drive activation plans.
- Troubleshoot integration and configuration issues in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.
- Train marketing teams on segmentation, orchestration, journey logic, and AJO best practices once the foundational capabilities are established.
- Establish governance, standards, and repeatable frameworks for journey design and execution.
- Help teams transition from legacy tools to AJO, centralizing communication logic and enabling more intelligent, data-driven customer journeys.
- Deep experience with Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Experience Cloud, or similar enterprise journey orchestration tools.
- Strong understanding of data flows, integrations, APIs, and MarTech ecosystems—technical fluency without needing to code.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical and operational solutions across multiple teams.
- Experience driving adoption, enabling platforms, and launching new capabilities across cross-functional groups.
- Comfortable leading discovery, defining data requirements, and shaping end-to-end activation plans.
