Experience of the right candidate:
- Proven experience in project/program management, preferably in a lab or pharmaceutical environment. PMP (or equivalent) certification is strongly preferred.
- Strong systems understanding and ability to navigate complex organizational structures.
- Excellent communication skills, with experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership.
- Demonstrated experience in process re-engineering and change management.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and compliance.
- Understanding of SDLC and lifecycle management.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to bridge gaps between business, science, and technology teams.
- Experience with Smartsheet or similar project management tools is a strongly preferred.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Lead and manage multiple projects and programs, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
- Apply a strong understanding of systems and processes within lab and pharmaceutical settings to optimize program outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from working groups to executive leadership, tailoring messaging as appropriate.
- Drive process re-engineering initiatives to improve efficiency, compliance, and quality.
- Serve as a liaison between business science, technical, and leadership teams, facilitating collaboration and strategic alignment.
- Utilize project management tools such as Smartsheet (preferred) to track progress, manage resources, and report on key metrics.
- Ensure all programs adhere to the System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and best practices for program governance.
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail in planning, execution, and documentation.
- Apply strategic thinking to anticipate risks, identify opportunities, and support long-term organizational objectives.
