Optomi is hiring a Technical Program Manager (Information Security) to drive strategic and operational excellence across multiple cybersecurity initiatives. This individual will lead the Technical Cyber Protections program through the full lifecycle — from planning and execution to reporting and process optimization.
You will partner closely with Security Architecture, Security Engineering, and Product Strategy teams to ensure alignment with enterprise goals, visibility into progress, and delivery of high-impact results.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned program manager who thrives at the intersection of technology, security, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the Information Security program and related projects through end-to-end delivery — from product development to execution and status reporting.
  • Manage program interdependencies to support enterprise security strategies, roadmaps, and commitments.
  • Collaborate with security and business leaders to define requirements, prioritize work, and guide execution.
  • Partner with Security Architecture and Security Engineering teams to identify and complete initiatives on time and within scope.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, Jira reports, and roadmap updates to provide visibility into team progress and performance.
  • Manage stakeholder engagement and communication for large or complex programs.
  • Lead the creation and maintenance of functional requirements, user stories, and data mappings for process and system enhancements.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization across programs and workflows.
  • Monitor project performance, manage risks, and recommend improvements to enhance team efficiency and delivery quality.
  • Support Business Operations and the PMO by providing program oversight, consultation, and guidance on ad hoc initiatives.

Required Qualifications
  • 10–15+ years of experience in Program or Project Management, including portfolio-level management.
  • Proven experience managing cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, or enterprise technology programs.
  • Strong Agile / Scrum leadership experience; ability to drive sprint and Kanban processes.
  • Expertise with Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet for team management, dashboards, and reporting.
  • Background in process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Solid understanding of security principles, technologies, and frameworks.
  • Analytical mindset with experience managing large data sets (Excel, Smartsheet, or similar tools).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically, balancing vision with hands-on execution.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Product Engineering or secure development environments.
  • Familiarity with program-level OKRs/KRIs and governance frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management and change leadership abilities.
