Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the entertainment industry, is seeking a highly skilled Product Build Technology Project Manager to support a major facilities renovation and construction initiative. This role sits at the intersection of construction, technology integration, and operational excellence—driving complex build-outs while coordinating cross-functional technical and engineering teams. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of construction project leadership, technical acumen, and stakeholder management, thriving in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
Responsibilities of the right candidate:- Lead technology integration efforts across construction and renovation projects within corporate real estate initiatives.
- Oversee full project lifecycle from design coordination to procurement, installation, move-in, and final approvals.
- Serve as primary liaison between Studio Operations, Real Estate, Architects, General Contractors, and Technology teams.
- Manage multiple simultaneous projects with competing priorities.
- Utilize project management tools (e.g., Smartsheet, JIRA) for milestone tracking, procurement oversight, budgeting, and reporting.
- Facilitate meetings and ensure stakeholder alignment across internal and external partners.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards using tools such as MS Power BI.
- Identify operational risks and inefficiencies; implement process improvements.
- Support technical teams including audio/visual, sound, projection, and union labor groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5–10 years in Technical Project Management utilizing waterfall and agile methodologies.
- 5+ years managing construction/build projects with contractors, architects, safety, and operations teams.
- Proven success managing and developing technical teams.
- Strong ability to multitask under pressure in a fast-moving environment.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet, JIRA, PowerPoint/Keynote, and procurement processes.
- Excellent meeting facilitation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience creating workflow diagrams/process maps in Lucidchart.
- Preferred: Studio or production environment experience (edit rooms, theaters, review rooms), familiarity with MS Power BI, PMP certification.
