Optomi, in partnership with a leading client in the quick-service restaurant (QSR) industry, is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to support large-scale software development initiatives. This role bridges the gap between business and technology teams - driving functional design, user story creation, and delivery coordination across multiple Agile squads.
The right person will:- Gather and document business and functional requirements using user stories, process flows, and diagrams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define project scope, risks, and delivery approach.
- Own and manage the product backlog in Jira; write clear user stories with acceptance criteria.
- Lead workshops, support sprint activities, and align with developers, QA, and delivery leads throughout the SDLC.
- Create runbooks, training documents, and assist with user testing and production rollout support.
- 3–5+ years of experience in Agile and SDLC environments.
- Strong facilitation, communication, and documentation skills.
- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of APIs, data modeling, and process improvement methodologies.
- Scrum Master/Product Owner certification
- Experience in QSR, eCommerce, or retail tech environments
- Background in wireframing (e.g., Balsamiq) or previous development roles
