Optomi, in partnership with one of our premier clients, is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive large-scale data initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of program management, product development, and data engineering, ensuring cross-functional teams deliver impactful data products and platforms.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple concurrent projects within an agile framework (Scrum/Kanban)
- Partner with product managers, data engineers, and platform teams to deliver scalable data products and pipelines
- Ensure workload alignment with team capacity and remove delivery blockers
- Translate complex technical initiatives into clear business terms for executives and stakeholders
- Drive capacity planning, resource allocation, and program roadmaps
- Support change management, guiding teams through evolving priorities and organizational shifts
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business stakeholders
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, Program Manager, or similar role
- Proven track record in data-focused programs (data platforms, pipelines, or data product development)
- Strong background in agile delivery methods
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills (executive reporting, business alignment)
- Experience partnering with data engineering, analytics, or platform teams
- Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure) preferred
- Experience with data tools or pipelines (SQL, Spark, Kafka, ETL) a plus
