Project Overview
We are seeking a Deployment Lead to support the large-scale rollout of the UKG platform , including the inpatient module , across a major U.S. healthcare organization. This enterprise-wide initiative spans 60,000 employees, 48 hospitals, and 500 clinics , and is midway through a 5-phase, 2-year deployment .
Each wave of deployment impacts 15,000 employees across ~15 sites in 5 states , and the successful candidate will lead the execution, coordination, and readiness efforts for each phase of the rollout.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the Deployment Lead during the end-user phase of the UKG implementation.

Manage and synchronize multi-site, multi-state go-lives (15K users per wave across 5 states).

Partner with vendors like Accenture to design and operate command centers for access, scheduling, and support readiness.

Ensure frontline teams have the necessary tools, staffing, and training to successfully transition to the new system.

Anticipate deployment needs and validate whether teams are appropriately staffed and resourced .

Support the logistics and execution of concurrent deployments while monitoring performance across each site.

Evaluate change management plans to ensure readiness and adoption across stakeholder groups.

Collaborate with technology and operations teams to maintain alignment on scope, risks, and rollout timing.
Must-Have Qualifications

Extensive experience leading large-scale UKG deployments , with emphasis on end-user rollouts .

Strong track record coordinating geographically distributed, multi-site deployments .

Hands-on leadership managing command center planning and go-live execution .

Excellent ability to challenge and collaborate with vendors to ensure readiness and accountability.

Experience in highly complex environments , such as healthcare, retail, or manufacturing.

Comfortable operating in both strategic and tactical capacities —able to dive deep into execution when needed.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience deploying UKG in healthcare settings , particularly with inpatient modules.
