Optomi, in partnership with leading retail and wholesale company, is looking for an experienced Audio/Visual Tech Writer to join their Audio Visual Infrastructure team.
Position Summary: Ahold Delhaize is seeking an Audio/Visual Tech Writer for a 12-month contract role with potential extensions. This position will focus on creating and maintaining engineering and end-user documentation for Microsoft Teams, audio/video systems, and digital signage. The role also involves updating knowledge base articles in ServiceNow and assisting internal teams with SharePoint site documentation related to video conferencing projects. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of technical writing experience and a strong background in audio/video hardware documentation. What the right candidate will enjoy:

- Excellent communication skills with a creative mindset for developing engaging content
- Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation related to audio/video systems, digital signage, and Microsoft Teams integration
- Develop user-friendly end-user documentation for AV equipment
- Document and formalize engineering processes and procedures
- Produce creative "Leave Behind" materials to enhance user engagement
- Review and clean up existing knowledge base articles in ServiceNow
- Collaborate with AV engineers to ensure technical accuracy in documentation
- Assist internal teams with SharePoint site documentation related to video conferencing projects
- Stay updated on hardware transitions from Windows-based systems to Android-based systems and incorporate this knowledge into documentation
