Optomi, in partnership with a leading multi-site healthcare provider, is looking for a Director of Cybersecurity to oversee and enhance the organization's security posture across its 700+ outpatient clinics and 7,500+ employees in 18 states.
Position Summary: The Director of Cybersecurity is a high-impact, hands-on leadership role responsible for designing and implementing security tools, managing incident response, and ensuring compliance frameworks evolve to meet the needs of a growing healthcare network. Reporting directly to the CIO, this role is critical to maintaining security governance and threat management while fostering cross-functional collaboration with legal, compliance, and IT teams. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on technical expert with a proven track record of managing people and executing security initiatives. What the right candidate will enjoy:

- Lead end-to-end security operations, including threat detection and incident response.
- Conduct technical due diligence for M&A activities and standardize acquired systems.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and procurement teams on security reviews.
- Manage a portfolio of security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery within budget.
- Mentor and lead a small, agile team of IT professionals.
