We are seeking a technically skilled Integration Solutions Architect to join our team, with a strong emphasis on Workday integration within the HR technology landscape. The ideal candidate will be highly proficient in SaaS platforms, cloud tools, and modern integration technologies such as APIs and OAuth. This role requires hands-on solution design and a collaborative approach with developers to connect Workday to other critical business systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect integration solutions with a focus on Workday, ensuring seamless interaction with other platforms and tools.
- Collaborate closely with developers to define technical specifications, support implementation, and ensure architectural consistency across systems.
- Develop high-level design documents, technical outlines, and solution blueprints.
- Identify technical risks and issues early in the design process and propose effective mitigation strategies.
- Apply expertise in SaaS and cloud platforms to build scalable, secure, and resilient integrations.
- Serve as a technical leader for Workday integrations, maintaining a focus on practical implementation over enterprise-level strategy.
- Proven experience in Workday integrations, with deep understanding of its architecture and data flow.
- Proficiency in API-based integration, OAuth, SSO, and other authentication mechanisms.
- Strong understanding of SaaS and cloud technologies in HRIS environments.
- Skilled in system design processes, including outlining, high-level design creation, and risk management.
- Ability to work hands-on with developers and actively guide technical solutioning.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of navigating complex team dynamics and organizational politics.
- Ability to diplomatically push back and defend sound technical solutions when necessary.
- Experience working with HR teams or in politically nuanced environments is a strong plus.
- Experience with integration tools such as MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or similar platforms.
- Previous exposure to HR systems outside of Workday (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM).
