Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization undergoing a finance transformation initiative, is seeking a Lead Scrum Master/Project Manager to join their team on a 6+ month contract-to-hire basis.
Position Summary: This role is part of a 5-year Finance 360 transformation program focused on financial operations, financial insights, and employee experience. The Lead Scrum Master/Project Manager will coordinate across three towers, managing high-level milestones and escalations while ensuring quality KPIs are met. The role involves managing a scrum of scrums and overseeing the operating committee for shared services, platforms, and other areas. Candidates must have experience in finance transformation programs, process re-engineering, and managing large budgets. - Experience managing a scrum of scrums or similar high-level coordination roles
- Background in finance transformation programs
- Strong understanding of agile and waterfall methodologies
- Experience managing budgets of $20-30M annually
- Knowledge of financial systems such as Oracle EPM, Vena, Dynamics 365, ECC, and S4
- Exposure to forecasting, reporting, and monthly/quarterly business reviews
- Coordinate across three towers within the Finance 360 initiative
- Manage high-level milestones and escalations
- Oversee the operating committee and ensure quality KPIs are met
- Support process re-engineering efforts to streamline workflows
- Manage the budget for the program and ensure alignment with strategic goals
- Collaborate with product managers, product owners, and individual scrum masters to deliver results
