Optomi, in partnership with a leading financial services organization, is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager (ACT Governance & Operations) to join their team.
Position Summary: As a Technical Delivery Manager for the Ally Corporate Technology (ACT) organization, you will bridge the gap between high-level enterprise governance and technical execution. Supporting the ACT Governance & Operations (AGO) team, you will drive governance and operational maturity across a portfolio of 200+ applications. This role combines the organizational rigor of a Project Manager with the analytical mindset of a Technical Analyst. Key responsibilities include ensuring compliance with Non-Functional Requirements (NFRs), driving application resiliency efforts, and acting as a surrogate Product Owner/Scrum Master for internal tool development.

What type of experience does the right candidate have:
- Advanced experience with Jira (or equivalent) for tracking sprints, kanban boards, and long-term epics
- Strong technical writing skills to translate complex governance mandates into actionable user stories and documentation
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive compliance deadlines
- Analytical skills to synthesize data from tools such as Archer, ServiceNow, and Coupa
What the responsibilities are of the right candidate:
- Track and ensure 100% compliance for 70+ application owners regarding new Technology Operating Model requirements (NFRs) and other enterprise governance requirements
- Support enterprise initiatives to document and validate failover and recovery capabilities of third-party applications supporting Critical Business Services
- Act as the primary Project Manager/Analyst for a proprietary Vendor Management application, managing integrations with source systems (Archer, ServiceNow, Coupa Core)
- Maintain the team’s backlog, ensuring stories are well-defined, technical dependencies are identified, and progress is transparently reported to leadership
