OPTOMI EXPANDS INTO THE BALTIMORE/DC MARKET

Roswell, Georgia

Optomi continues it’s national expansion, opening a new operation in the Baltimore/DC market this week. The new branch is the fifth hub office to support Optomi’s growing national network.

In tandem with the new office opening, Optomi has appointed Anthony Petrelli as the Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic region. Anthony has over 14 years experience in the Technology Staffing and Solutions industry. Throughout his career, Anthony has successfully grown and managed multiple offices in the region for one of the largest IT staffing firms in the US. Anthony’s leadership, proven track record and drive to succeed will help Optomi expand within the Mid-Atlantic region.

Optomi is also promoting and relocating Harvey Brockinton as the new Recruiting Manager for the Baltimore/DC branch. Harvey has a successful track record as a senior recruiter in Optomi’s Atlanta market. By over-achieving his goals in 2013, he earned a place in the firm’s high performer Platinum Club.

Optomi CEO Michael Winwood remarked, “We are delighted to have Anthony joining the team. Anthony’s past record of success working with our team gives us great confidence for the future of our Mid-Atlantic operation. We are also pleased to be promoting Harvey Brockinton from our Atlanta office to lead recruiting for our Mid-Atlantic operation. As we develop internal talent, our goal is to reward their dedication and success with promotion. Giving our top associates the ability to be an integral part of expanding our footprint into new markets helps us create a consistent culture, a strategy core to Optomi’s long-term success.”

For 20 years, a multinational healthcare services company relied on the outsourcing support of a managed services provider to fulfill their hiring needs. Upon evaluating the deal later on, the client learned that not only were they overspending on resources, but that they lacked all contract proprietary rights. They did not own any of the documentation or standard operating procedures in place in their own company, handcuffing them to their old vendor.
